About the African Scholarship Development Enterprize
The ASDE promotes international scholarship by providing support services in manuscript development and research training. It enables African and Africanist scholars to develop and publish cutting edge research on a broad range of issues on people of African descent. The ASDE enhances the visibility of research by African and Africanist scholars by providing writing and other training services likely to result in publication and effective dissemination of research on people of an African heritage.
ASDE Consultants
The ASDE has a board on consultants, mostly in education, psychology, public health, rehabilitation, counseling, and special education who are under contract with the ASDE to assist author/manuscript development Consultants to the ASDE have an international research scholarship reputation in their fields. They also have extensive teaching and advising experience at both the undergraduate and (post) graduate levels. In addition, they have experience as editors, assistant editors, associate editors or adhoc manuscript reviewers. The Chief Consultant, Professor Elias Mpofu, PhD, CRC is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of psychology in Africa. Professor Mpofu also serves on the editorial review boards of 5 national and international journals and is adhoc manuscript reviewer for 12 academic journals.
Target Users of ASDE services
Users of ASDE services may be individuals, consortia or institutions seeking to engage in state-of-the-art, high quality, publishable research that meets their unique needs and those of their audiences. Users of ASDE services are presumed to have basic writing and research skills. However, they may also need help with specialized writing conventions, advanced writing, and appreciation of research applications. They may need skill development and enhancement in:
a) report writing for publication in peer referred journals
b) dissertation or thesis project writing
c) advanced research approaches and data analysis applications
d) consultancy project writing development
